XDA is the world’s largest unofficial forum for everything related to Android. If you want to get the most out of your Android device, then XDA Forums is your ultimate destination.
You can find tutorials for any Android device, including Android Smartphones, Tablets, Smartwatches, or anything that runs Android.
It’s the major source of all kinds of custom Android mods like custom ROMs, Kernels, modified apps, and other utilities. If you are a member of XDA, then you might have noticed that there is no option to change the username you set while registering.
Things get worse if you have an account for years with great recognition and huge contributions. That makes your account irreplaceable. Creating a new account is out of the question in that case.
So how do you change your username on XDA forums? Let’s find out!
Change XDA Forums Username
I’ve been on XDA forums since 2014 and got my username updated multiple times till now. It is fairly easy to do, but one thing you need to know is that you can’t do it yourself.
You’ve to request Mike Cannon for this change. He’s the one who is responsible for forum administration and support.
There are no steps that you need to follow for this change. Simply click here.
Once you are logged into your XDA forums account, it will open a private chat option with Mike Cannon.
Request him humbly, and he will do it as soon as possible.
In my case, I got my username updated within an hour both times.
That’s all! I hope I was able to help 🙂
How do I change page name after 100k like ?
